弥勒，本名阿逸多尊者，又称慈氏，是释迦牟尼佛之后的下一位佛，称之为未来佛。《弥勒的故事》系列动画片是台湾波沙山法明寺委托 “华藏光明·ALCOO数码”（中国北京）创作的2集佛经动画片，根据《佛说弥勒上生经》、《佛说弥勒下生经》、《佛说弥勒大成佛经》这“弥勒三经”改编制作。于2008-2009年制作了《弥勒菩萨上生经》，2011-2012年制作了《弥勒下生成佛记》，这两部动画从编剧制作到音乐全部由ALCOO原创，完整介绍了弥勒的故事。
